The Whale Seasons are a spectacular time of the year for all of us – make sure you join us soon on one of the many Tour Options!

Humpback Whales are travelling between their feeding grounds of Antarctica and their nursing grounds in Australia’s Northwestern Region. They are the most artistic and photogenic whales, on top of that they are also renowned for their singing. Breaches, spy-hopping, and socialising are more common sights than with any other species of whales. On our Tours you will not miss out.

The mighty Pygmy Blue Whales however appear more like gigantic submarines growing up to 24m long and weighing up to 90 tonnes. Having been almost eradicated by whalers, today we see hundreds of them migrating through Geographe Bay from September – November with Tours leaving from Busselton & Dunsborough. The presence of them will take your breath away with a water spout of up to 10m high.

Nothing can beat the gentle giants of our seas, the Southern-Right-Whales. Their majestic slow moves and distinct pectoral fins as well as the callosities on their heads makes them easily recognisable so far that local researchers are able to identify them individually. Many of them resting with their calf inside our Bay. Most often we seem the during the Southwards Migration from August – November. Tours leave from Busselton & Dunsborough
