Strathy is partial to herring & likes a good lap of the tank before breakfast....
|Location Found||Stratham Beach, Bunbury|
|Date Found||August 10th 2017|
|Initial Weight & Length||Weight 170 grams Length 9cm|
|Distinguished Markings||With no identifying marks we had to adorn Strathy with a bright blue nail polish dot so we could distinguish it from other turtles in care.|
|Latest Weight and length||Weight 1170 grams Length 20.0cm 14th February 2018|
|Overall Progress||Strathy was found stranded on Stratham Beach by a local lady, who brought it into the DDC to be cared for by our team. Initially unresponsive, very sick and dehydrated, but Strathy soon responded to intensive care treatment and after a couple of days of TLC began eating and improving. Strathy likes a good swim around at dinner time, but then often settles down for a snooze into a corner of the tank where it will not be disturbed by other turtles.|
