Adopted by Coastal Water Dive, Bunbury
Meet Scooby
Scooby.... loves to swim amongst the reef, divers bubbles are his playpen.
Location Found  Windy Harbour
Date Found  20th August 2017 - initially called Windy
Initial Weight & Length  Weight 107g Length 8 cm
Distinguished Markings No identifying marks, but Scooby has a beautiful golden colour shell. Scooby now also has beautiful blue and red dots on the shell near it's tail.
Latest Weight and length  Weight 289 grams Length 10.7 cm 18th October 2017
Overall Progress Scooby was found by a beachcomber at Windy Harbour and taken to a local wildlife carer, who then brought it to the DDC for care. Scooby presented with a white lesion over the right cornea on it's eye,  but as it's health has improved so has the lesion. The eye is now completely clear and Scooby is on it's way to excellent health. Scooby was a hungry little dude from the moment it arrived, and was diving and looking for food even before it was re-hydrated and warmed up. Scooby the golden turtle is still the champion diver in it's tank, and rests easily on the substrate.
