 Celebrating the Dolphin Discovery Centres 25th anniversary  and the start of the

Dolphin “Swim on the Wild Side” season – FREE Entry!!

 

On Saturday the 18th October from 9am to 3pm, come and join in the fun and enjoy the family Open Day at the Dolphin Discovery Centre.   With free entry and loads of activities there is something for everyone.

Bouncy Castles – Crafty Corner – Wildlife Rescue Animals – Facepainting – special appearances from GWN7’s Doopa Dog, Chester the Times Tiger and Louie the Dolphin – Cultural dance, art and storytime workshops for the kids – learn to fish – live entertainment all day – Special Dolphin Eco Cruises run every hour – Blessing of the pod – Introduction of the new Dolphin Tram Shuttle and more.  Celebrate 25 years of history and toast another 25 years! Don’t forget FREE Entry!

On Sunday the 19th October from 8am to 1pm come back again and enjoy a session of beach yoga and follow it up with a Big Beach Breaky at the inaugural Dolphin Markets.  A first of many there will be a variety of stalls from fresh produce, craft stalls, live entertainment, food vans, bouncy castle, face painting and the great atmosphere of a Sunday market.  Gold Coin Donation entry, with all proceeds going towards the Dolphin Discovery Centre’s ongoing turtle rehabilitation facility.

Feb 28  to Mar 2nd 20145 is Bunbury’s Aquaspectacular, a weekend packed with fun activities to join in or enjoy from the sidelines! This is a chance to see Bunbury in all her glory with a host of water based events from the Annual Sailing Regatta, Sail into Life, Try Scuba Diving, Dolphin Eco Cruises or Swim Tours, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Fishing Competition, annual Barrett Bunbury Swim Thru and the Dragonboats to the Krikke Boys Shootout at the Speedway, AHA Cup Race Day, The Steam and Vintage Fair, Kids Free Days at the Dolphin Discovery Centre and the Bunbury Wildlife Park, the Multicultural Night Under the Stars and the Krikke Boys Great Aussie Brunch – there is so much on and a great opportunity be a part of the fun!  Events are being updated all the time so if you have something running this weekend please email tiffany on admin@aquaspectacular.com.au
