|Overall Progress||Big by name & Big by nature... Big Don is the King of the Tank. It was found near sand dunes at the mouth of the Donnelly River with 2 other turtles and taken to a local wildlife carer, who sent them all to be cared for at the Dolphin Discovery Centre. Big Don had not eaten for several days, but after being rehydrated & having it's body temperature increased it has not looked back. Big Don likes to hang out in the lower area of the tank, only surfacing for a casual breath or at dinner time, which is a sure sign it is well on the road to recovery.|
